the prototype and the series are similar. The body is HAND MADE
, we can see the pieces of fiber glass one between other. It's a little bit less heavy.the chassis is a little bit different, where the chassis is fixed to the body under the pedal.

i think it's possible that there are 2 prototype, beacause when Panhard broken the business with ALPA, an other factory made the 200 fyber glass body and i think that in that new factory was stored the SECOND prototype.

I had another answer. There is only ONE prototyp. This one is in Japan, well known and pretty.
There was the idea to build bodies in Italy. Your body is one sent in that goal. But there was no concrete result.

there are many voices about my CD.
One thing, and i'm sure, it's different to the other CD, a little bit different. The doors are totally made of fiber glass and there is not the steel part in the center with the glass movement and door opener. These parts are fixed on the fiber glass and it's not so good!
i think that the engineer see this problem and make a different solution for it.
The latest news i heard by a man who worked around the CD in the '60 in the ALPA factory: Panhard send to Italy an alluminium body with chassis and 1 chassis to check the bodies. ALPA made 15 body, only 14 sent to Paris.
The chassis was mounted with the first body produced to see if it fits and it's my CD.
It's a great story, but it's not possible to know exactly the real history.
Non my CD is ready to paint. Every single parts was mount and dismount to see if it fits.
I hope to finish soon this long job.
